First Ever Dry Shampoo

Rumor is it took Aveda experts 10 years to come up with the perfect, eco-friendly and user-friendly packaging and applicator for their first ever dry shampoo. A simple squeeze of the bottle bursts a cloud of of the product into the air. Spritz a few times in front of your friends to show off, of course, but you’ll want to burst this powdery mixture onto your roots for optimal results. While wasting isn’t advised by Aveda professionals and lovers, don’t be shy with your usage of this product, a refill is available for 15 percent less.
The new dry shampoo is welcomed into the Shampure family, so you can go about your day with second, third or fourth day hair smelling of Aveda’s signature mixture of 25 pure flower and plant essences. The product works a little differently than your typical dry shampoo. Since it’s not in an aerosol bottle (1 point for the environment), instead of shaking it between each spray, all you need to do is gently tip the bottle upside down and then right side up again. Then you turn the cap to expose the nozzle and spritz away. Make sure to massage the powder into your scalp lightly after every couple sprays.
The dry shampoo is not only great on second day hair, but a lot of stylists are using it on freshly cleaned hair as well. It makes blow-drys last longer when you use it on the first day, and it adds great texture to hair at the roots.
Coming from someone who has tried multiple dry shampoos from aerosols to powders to even baby powder, which actually contains many chemicals that are harmful to your body and the environment. The Aveda Shampure dry shampoo makes a world of difference in just a few squeezes of it’s recycled bottle.
Start with a light squeeze and work your way up. This product is buildable!
