It is our goal at Gordon Salon that every guest walks out the door feeling nothing less than amazed. We are willing to go above and beyond to make this happen, each and every time you visit. If you are not satisfied with your hair, we are happy to redo it, at no cost to you, or give you an in-store credit for a future service. We are also able to give you a full service refund equivalent to the value of the service. However, please be aware that any requests for a redo service must be made within two weeks of the initial service. The business reserves the right to refuse services to individuals when the situation requires at the business’ discretion.


Our Highland Park and Chicago hair salons are located in high-traffic areas. Please give yourself a few extra minutes to park. For parking suggestions at individual locations, click on Lakeview or Highland Park for additional information – or call the salon and we’ll be happy to help.

Appointment Cancellation

We ask guests to give 24 hours notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. This advanced notice allows our stylists to fill their schedules efficiently. There is a $10 fee charged if the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice.

Appointment Confirmation

Because we recognize the value of your time and ours, we will contact you 48 hours in advance to confirm your appointment. Please provide us with a phone number that is the best way to reach you when you make your appointment.

Returned Checks

Returned checks will be charged a $30 fee, without exception.

Returned Merchandise

Any products or merchandise accompanied by the original receipt can be returned as long as the product is still half full and returned within a year of purchase. Purchases made with a debit or credit card can be credited back to the original card. Unfortunately, we cannot give cash back. Purchases made with cash or check can only be returned for store credit.


As a family-friendly salon, we welcome children to receive haircuts in the salons. We suggest that you do not bring children if you are receiving a chemical process of any type. Please be aware that hot irons, open blade razors, and other hazards exist in the salons.

Cell Phones

Please turn off your cell phones when entering our salons and spas to maintain our serene environment.


For the comfort and safety of all our guests, please do not bring pets into our salons and spas. However, service dogs are welcome at any time.
