Each level correlates with a stylist’s time in the industry, experience, advanced education, and client demand. As our stylists gain more experience and further their education, they move up levels, and their prices adjust accordingly. Our other services that we offer have one price, no matter the stylist’s level. These include: extensions, smoothing treatments, texturizing treatments, permanent waves/straightening, bridal services, make-up, and more, are exclusively done by people with passions and certifications in those areas. - Styles Needed: Each level brings its own set of specialties.
- Within the color choices, there are two main categories of color application. One is color “alla carte.” That is, each service is priced independently. This means that if you get add-on colors like a color pull-through or toner, it is an additional cost. The second way is custom colors, which are based on the look you want and then the stylist determines how much time it takes for it to be achieved. In Custom Colors, there are no additional charges for extra services needed to achieve the look, plus additional creativity may be required. Therefore, Custom Colors are priced 10 to 25% more than an alla carte service.
- Haircuts are also divided into two main categories. A classic 45-minute haircut, which is the standard time used for our Sassoon style of cutting. The majority of haircuts are done in this time frame. Secondly, Gordon Salon offers a 60-minute haircut, which is fabulous for anyone with special hair considerations. A discussion with our front desk or your stylist can help determine which one is right for you.
- Schedule: You may love a specific Gordon Stylist, but your schedules dont match, it happens all the time. Gordon Salon is Team based. We share clients. All formulas and notes are recorded. If necessary, feel free to use whomever fits your styling needs and schedule. We encourage you to use the whole team.
